LCBO pauses partnership with SkipTheDishes at the request of Ontario govt.

After a request from the Ontario government, LCBO pauses its partnership with SkipTheDishes indefinitely. The two companies recently announced its collaboration that lets SkipTheDishes deliver alcohol to its customers through its delivery service. Ontario Finance Minister Rod Philips and Premier Doug Ford asked the retailer to hold off these plans to assist struggling restaurants first.

Toronto is currently in the grey or lockdown zone, only allowing restaurants and bars to offer takeout and delivery, with many of them reporting huge drops in revenue. Ford's government decided to help out the struggling sector by allowing restaurants to deliver alcohol with food to increase orders.

You get access to over 100 different wines and refreshment options from Wine Rack, including well-known brands such as Jackson-Triggs, Inniskilin, OPEN, Bodacious, Naked Grape, Growers Cider, Cartier, and many more.
