Marvel's 'WandaVision' to premiere on Disney+ on Jan. 15

It's finally happening. The first Marvel Cinematic Universe series will be coming to Disney+ at the start of the year. WandaVision's first episode will stream on the service on January 15, 2021. The six-episode show will focus on the relationship between Scarlett Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) following the events of Avengers: Endgame.

You can expect to see some familiar faces from MCU, including Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) from Thor and Thor: The Dark World and Agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) from Ant-Man and The Wasp. They will also be joined by Kathryn Hahn and Teyonah Parris, who will play the adult version of Monica Rambeau (featured in Captain Marvel).

Disney moves up release of 'WandaVision' to this year

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are getting two new shows to look forward to this year. Disney moved up the release of WandaVision to this year instead of in the spring of 2021, but it hasn't specified which month it's coming out. We don't know why Disney decided to move but the release, but it will join The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will also be making its debut this year.

WandaVision will be following the relationship between Scarlet Witch and Vision post-Avengers: Endgame. The teaser images hint at a 1950s element to the show, but also, it's going to be connected to the 2021 MCU movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
