Waze brings Google Assistant integration to Canada

English-speaking Waze users in the country can now use Google Assistant to access the app's features hands-free. It's rolling out to both Android and iOS. Waze brought this feature to the US last year. You can now ask "Hey Google" to report traffic, incidents, or hazards; help navigate; search; or ask Assistant questions without leaving the app. Android users can also set Google calendar appointments, play music, and make phone calls.

The text looks like it fits more into the aesthetic of modern smartphones. Waze is also introducing Moods into its app. There are 30 different feelings you can express, and the company promises to add more.
