And so it begins....we're days away from International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) and already the steady flow of wearable news is streaming in. MyKronoz is promising to show off its large array of Swiss-designed wearables which run the gamut from activity trackers to full-featured smartphone adjuncts.

Hands On: Pebble Steel smart watch

As an early supporter of Pebble and its smartwatch, I’m very impressed at how the device has managed to evolve with the times and not just remain relevant despite the sudden surge of competition but maintain its place as the best cross platform option for a smart watch in the market.

I’ve owned the original Pebble and had a chance to try the more elegant (although functionally identical) Pebble Steel which is available from Future Shop along with various metal and leather strap accessories.

Hands On: Jawbone UP24

After around a week with the Jawbone UP24, which is available through Future Shop,  I feel it is the health tracker that’s best suited to my needs and lifestyle. It’s the lease obtrusive device I have tried, looks like a bracelet, the medium-sized model fits me perfectly and I enjoy what it has to offer.

Scotiabank jumps into wearable banking solutions with Samsung devices

Scotiabank wants its account holders to enjoy accessing their accounts via their wearables. Starting today with the Quick Balance app on the Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear S, Scotiabank is proud to be the first financial institution to bring mobile banking to the wrists of Canadians.
