New Xbox One experience, backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 coming on November 12

Current Xbox One users will be getting a whole new user interface on November 12 which will also bring some backwards compatibility with selected Xbox 360 titles. Microsoft calls it ,"the fastest and most social Xbox experience ever.... you’ll be able to play Xbox 360 games on Xbox One at no additional cost." This adds value to an already strong Xbox One lineup of games for 2015 including the much anticipated Halo 5: Guradians, Forza Motorsport 6 and Rise of the Tomb Raider as exclusives. The new experience will be available via software update on connected Xbox Ones.

We've seen the writing on the wall, under Nadella Microsoft has become a more altruistic technology giant, one that released their crown jewel, Microsoft Office, to the iPad, the device whose immense popularity threatened to bury the PC as a thing of the past.
