Samsung Galaxy S23 FE to reportedly launch in Q3 2023 with Exynos 2200 and 50MP camera

Samsung’s ‘Fan Edition’ smartphone, the Galaxy S23 FE, will reportedly launch in selected markets in Q3 2023, according to SamMobile. The device will supposedly have a wider release in Q4 2023 and Q1 2024, but the exact regions are still unknown. The Galaxy S23 FE will reportedly feature the same Exynos 2200 chip and AMD-powered Xclipse 920 GPU as the Galaxy S22 series, even in the United States. This means, the S23 FE will have a nearly two-year-old processor when it debuts, which may not be ideal for performance and battery life, especially compared to Qualcomm’s high-end chipsets.

The S23 FE will supposedly sport a 50-megapixel primary camera, an upgrade from the 12-megapixel sensor used in the previous FE models. The device will come in 128GB and 256GB storage options with 8GB of RAM. It will also have a 4,500mAh battery with likely 25W fast charging support. While the Galaxy S23 FE is still months away from launch, Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5, in late July or early August.
