Sharp tipped to be spinning off smartphone LCD business 

Demonstrating just how tough it is to survive in the mobile business, Sharp will reportedly spin off its smartphone LCD division to help keep the company afloat. The move will reportedly be made in the current fiscal year, maybe around next March. The announcement will reportedly be made before Sharp announces its restructuring plans in  May. The company won't give confirmation about the plans just yet but they are saying that they are still considering reorganization options.

Next Apple TV will reportedly not yet support 4K video streaming 

If you're waiting for Apple to add 4K support to its TV streaming box, then you might be in for a disappointment. According to a BuzzFeed report, Apple doesn't have plans yet to add 4K video streaming into the features available on the Apple TV. One of their sources familiar with Apple's way of thinking said that 4K is still in its infancy that's why they don't want to invest in it yet. BuzzFeed speculates that Apple might be holding back because the technology is cost-prohibitive as well.

Vine (finally) updates Windows Phone app 

Yes, it took more than a year for Vine to pay attention to its Windows Phone app. But instead of complaining, we welcome the change. The company has finally updated its Windows Phone app. It now lets users import videos right from the camera and edit those clips in-app. Vine also gets a new look, loop count, and supports Vine messaging. The new version of the app is already available for download for Windows 8.1 devices.
