Sickweather app lets you know about nearby illnesses

The new Sickweather app for iOS is the perfect companion for a mysophobe or someone afraid of dirt or contamination. The app lets you know if there are any illnesses in your area or the area you might be traveling to. You just have to choose the conditions or viruses you want to be alerted of when the sickness happened and where. It’s very much like a Waze app for viruses.

FIFA unveils official iOS and Android apps

FIFA has released an official app as the 2014 World Cup Final Draw is fast approaching. The app gives live score updates, standings, news statistics, videos and photos of over 197 leagues around the world. According to FIFA, the Final Draw will be streamed live on December 6. You can download the iOS app here and the Android app here.

Badland arrives in Android

The dark yet beautiful iOS game, Badland, finally has an Android version. The free game lets you control a tiny floating blob that you have to keep alive by keeping it away from dangerous objects along the way. You just have to keep tapping and indulge in the dark atmosphere of the game.

Review: Martian Passport series smartwatch

The smartwatch segment of wearable computing is starting to explode. While everyone seems to agree that a smartwatch should have a touchscreen, a variety of apps, and the ability to change watchfaces at will, there are some manufacturers who are bucking the trend.

Take for example Martian, who makes a line of Passport watches that it says are smartwatches and which do interface with iPhones and Androids.
