Divvy: One-stop (photo) shop

You share photos on your Instagram and Facebook accounts and you view photos shared by your friends on these sites. Now, there’s an app that lets you consume photos on these two sites into a single, filter-capable stream. There is no need to check multiple apps with Divvy.

This photo consumption app lets you save photos from Instagram, comment and like photos, zoom in on them, and share with groups or individuals. It doesn’t support Twitter, Flickr, and Dropbox at the moment but it is coming soon. And who knows maybe they’ll let you take photos and share these to the other apps in the future, too? Divvy is a free app up for download on the Apple App Store.

Apple responds to PRISM by issuing Privacy Statement

Apple has issued a Privacy Statement in the wake of the PRISM revelation which was said to monitor online servers of the top Internet and technology companies for security and surveillance purposes. Apple was one of the companies mentioned in the leak that exposed PRISM to the public. Apple's initial response was that it denied the allegations, stating that it safeguards its user's data on their servers. The company recently issued a more comprehensive privacy statement available after the jump.
