The best technology should be invisible, users needn't spend an inordinate amount of time setting up and most specially--troubleshooting devices or software to get it to work. It should just work and this has been the blueprint of Apple's iCloud ecosystem.

WishList: Metallica Pinball Machine

Metallica has just announced their own pinball machine that has art lifted from their albums and iconography as well as 12 of Metallica's finest hits. Three models are available for order now, the Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition through Stern's dealers or for Met Club members who log in and hit the store here. Samsung's Galaxy S 4 now available for pre-order via Rogers, Fido

 

Rogers and Fido have let us know that they're taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S 4. Existing Rogers customers can now reserve their Samsung Galaxy S4 on the Rogers and Fido reservation systems. They've also updated our Twitter and Facebook pages with that info. Customers can reserve at: www.rogers.com/reserve and http://www.fido.ca/reserve.

New customers can pre-order their device at www.rogers.com/GALAXYS4  and existing Rogers wireless customers can reserve theirs on the Rogers Reservation System

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available in Black Mist and White Frost starting at $199.99 with select three year plans. Customers who have reserved a device on the Rogers Reservation System or have pre-ordered the device on Rogers.com will start to receive devices beginning April 27th. In-store availability will begin on May 3rd at select Rogers retail locations across the country. Anyone pulling the trigger on the new Galaxy flagship?

BlackBerry pushes for investigation from SEC and OSC on 'false return claims' by analysts

After successfully launching the new BlackBerry Z10 and now readying to launch the BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry is fighting hard to be competitive and sustain its comeback. So when analysts from Detwiler Fenton issued a statement yesterday claiming higher than usual return rates for the BlackBerry Z10 handsets, BlackBerry quickly refuted the claims and is now asking for a full scale inquiry from the Security and Exchange Comission as well as the Ontario Securities Commission.
