SlideShow: Fujifilm's new X100S and X20 digital cameras

Photos by Alex Davies

Las Vegas -Fujifilm hasn't dissapointed during CES. Last year they blessed the show floor with the X-Pro1 and various lenses, this year they upgrade two of their most beloved lines the X100S and the X20 offer some of the best features in the fixed lens premium point-and-shoot market. Other companies are starting to 'borrow' Fujifilm's retro-chic to infuse some coolness into their competing products but the originators still deliver the best combination of form and function. The X100S is a Leica-hunting monster with 16M APS-C "X Trans" CMOS Ⅱ sensor and the X20 is possibly one of the best all-around cameras in this category.

CES 2013: Panasonic's 20-inch tablet has 4K resolution and a pen

Talk about ambitious design. Panasonic showed off a 20-inch tablet at CES 2013 in Las Vegas today that features four times the resolution of a 1080p HDTV, accepts pen input from a stylus and runs Windows 8 Professional. Morea concept than an actual product, the tablet does show that 4K or Ultra HD technology can shrink (from th 60"-80" HDTVs around) and can easily take multi-touch input as well as pen input. The 20-inch LCD panel delivers "4k" resolution (3840 x 2560, 9.83 million pixels), more than twice the horizontal and vertical resolutions of Full HD (1920 x 1080) and has a density of 230 pixels per inch. How long before we see 4K capable 7 and 10-inch tablets?
