Microsoft Teams is finally coming to its app store

Source: Microsoft

It feels like a weird omission, but Microsoft Teams had to be downloaded from the web or installed alongside the rest of Office 365. But that's about to change. According to a roadmap update, the Teams will arrive in the Microsoft Store sometime next month for Windows 10 and 11. The Windows 10 version will be usable with personal, work, and school accounts, while the Windows 11 model will be for work and school accounts. As The Verge pointed out, the Windows 11 already comes with Teams built in for personal use.

'Super Mario Bros.' movie gets pushed back to April 2023

Source: Nintendo

If you've been waiting for the Super Mario Bros. movie, then you'll have to wait for a bit. Nintendo announced that the film's release date is being pushed back to April 2023 instead of December 2022. Video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto announced the delay on Twitter. The film will premiere in North America on April 7, 2023, and in Japan on April 28.

Miyamoto didn't share the reason for the delay. Instead, he said that he and Chirs Meledandri, the CEO of Illumination animation studio, decided to delay its release. The Nintendo exec promised, "it will be well worth the wait." The Super Mario Bros. film has been in the works since 2017. It'll feature the voices of Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach. Jack Black will voice Bowser, while Seth Rogen will voice Donkey Kong. Charles Martinet, the actor who portrayed Mario in different games in the franchise, will also voice characters in the film.

'Diablo Immortal' to launch on June 2

Blizzard is developing a new Diablo game, but it's built for mobile devices this time. In time for Activision Blizzard's Q1 2022 earnings report, the company announced Diablo Immortal on Android and iOS on June 2. The surprise is it'll launch in open beta on the PC then, too.

Diablo Immortal will get cross-play and cross-progression with controller and keyboard support on the PC. This free-to-play MMORPG is set after Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. It'll be an online-only title with new characters, storylines, and extra content as part of a "living, breathing, and constantly evolving experience." If you're interested, you can pre-register here.
