Twitter might get paid 'Super Follows' soon

Twitter

Twitter's paid Super Follows feature might be going live soon, at least according to what app researcher Jane Manchun Wong discovered. Super Follows is the social network's take on a Patreon-like offering. Creators can apply and manage their Super Follows status by defining categories (including "reality TV" and "adult-only") and the platforms they already use to share materials (including Twitch and OnlyFans).

According to what Wong discovered, a creator will need to be 18 or older, have over 10,000 followers, and poss at least 25 times over the last 30 days. It shows you have a well-established audience on the platform. Twitter hasn't commented about the feature. It won't be surprising if Twitter launches the feature soon. It would complement one of the company's latest offerings, Twitter Blue, which is actually already available in Canada.

Xbox Series X/S & PC exclusive 'The Medium' gets rated for PS5

Bloober Team

The Xbox Series X/S and PC-exclusive title The Medium has just been rated for the PlayStation 5. It receives a Mature 17+ for Blood, Strong Language, and Violence rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board. And the listing shows not just the Xbox platform but the PS5, too.

Koch Media announced a publishing partnership with The Medium's developer Bloober Team earlier this year, and the publisher plans a pre-E3 Koch Primetime Gaming Stream on June 11. So, we might hear more about the game's availability on Sony's console then. As IGN pointed out, it could also drum up excitement for Bloober Team's upcoming project, which it said was working on "another horror IP" with a "very famous publisher." Some of the speculations said it could be a new entry in the Silent Hill franchise.

Fossil won't upgrade existing smartwatches to new Wear OS

Fossil has no plans to upgrade its current lineup of smartwatches to Google and Samsung's upcoming Wear platform. Instead, it will discount these devices while also releasing a new premium watch with "pretty major hardware upgrades." You can expect faster performance, new processors, longer battery life, and LTE options. According to Fossil's Greg McKelvey, this Gen 6 watch will have "all of the software benefits that Google's been talking about and launching with the unified platform."
