'Resident Evil Village' demo comes to PS4 & PS5 first on April 17, additional platforms on May 1

 

Capcom will give gamers a chance to try out Resident Evil Village very soon, especially those who own PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles. There will be time-limited demos that are playable during specific windows. 

For PS4 and PS5 users, you can try out a 30-minute demo of the "Village" environment, which will be available for eight hours starting on April 17 at 8 p.m. ET. And then, these gamers get access to a 30-minute demo of the "Castle" environment for the same eight-hour window on April 24.

Ubisoft pushes back release of 'Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids' expansion to May 13

Instead of releasing Assassin's Creed Valhalla's first major expansion on April 29, Ubisoft has announced that Wrath of Druids will be coming out on May 13. According to the developer, it needed to delay the release to "deliver a more refined experience." Ubisoft also promised to publish an article that provides transparency and insights into its development process. Beyond that, the game developer didn't expound on what caused the issues.

This Bang & Olufsen speaker looks like a book

This new Bang & Olufsen speaker can hide quite well with your book collection. The new Beosound Emerge is designed to look like it'll belong in your library. But it's thinner in front or the spine-like part, and then it widens as you go deeper. 

As Mashable points out, this design should offer a better audio experience—with higher sound frequencies coming out through the front via a 14-millimetre tweeter and the lower frequencies are pushed by a 100-millimetre, side-firing woofer that's guided to the back.

Sony Xperia 10 III is a mid-range 5G phone

 

Aside from introducing the flagship phones, the Sony Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III, the company also announced its first midrange 5G handset, the Xperia 10 III (read as "Xperia 10 Mark 3"). Like the premium devices, Sony didn't release pricing for the Xperia 10 III either.

But what you get with this phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor paired with Android 11, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Its chipset is the same as the one powering the OnePlus Nord N10 5G. It also comes with a 6-inch OLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and an IP68 rating for its body.
