Apple rumoured to launch AirTags next month along with new iPad Pro

Apple might be holding its first product launch of the year next month if the rumours are true. According to tech analyst Jon Prosser, the AirTags are "still on for March, and that he hasn't heard of "any further delays this time." The AirTags are Tile-like item trackers you can attach to items you often lose (or want to keep safe). These will be findable via the Find My app on Apple devices. The AirTags has been rumoured for well over a year now. We're keeping our fingers crossed it's finally being launched soon.

In a follow-up tweet, Prosser said the new iPad Pro is coming out in March, too. While it's expected to retain the design of the 2020 model, the iPad Pro will supposedly get new mini-LED backlighting tech in its display. It will reportedly come to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro first, then to the 11-inch iPad Pro. For now, these remain speculation, so it's best to maintain a healthy sense of skepticism.

Microsoft Surface Duo is coming to Canada on Feb. 18

Microsoft's first foldable device, the Surface Duo, will be arriving in the country on February 18. It will be the first time the Surface Duo will be available outside of the US. It's also coming to the UK, France, and Germany on the same day. We don't have the Canadian pricing yet, but in the US, it's currently available at the discounted price of $999.

The Surface Duo has understandably been hit by negative reviews, even by our founder, Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla. Unfortunately, this well-built, Android-powered device failed to meet its potential. As GSMArena points out, it might be more prudent to wait until its price drops before you decide to get one.
