Here’s a look at the cancelled Microsoft Surface Mini

Back in 2014, Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 3. But a few weeks before that announcement, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop scrapped the Surface Mini project. It seems like a right move that Microsoft cancelled the tablet though as they haven’t had much success in the tablet market. But if you’re curious about how it looks like and what it was supposed to be like. Here’s your preview.

Resembling a notepad of sorts, it was an 8-inch device with a 1,440 x 1,080 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It even had a kickstand to it and a rubber-like exterior that would be available in different colors. It was designed to run on Windows RT and have the same support for the Surface Pen.

Facebook brings ‘Find WiFi’ feature to all users

Facebook started testing its “Find WiFi” feature on its app last year in a few countries. The feature allows you to find businesses nearby that have free, public Wi-Fi. Now, the social network is expanding the feature to all users around the world and rolling it out to both iOS and Android users. When you have this feature on, you’ll get to see not just which establishments have Wi-Fi but also their business hours, network names, and what kind of place it is. But a business will need to opt in to the service on their Facebook Page for you to see them.

Whiel they've been teased in the Marvel: Agents of Shield show, the Inhumans are getting their very on series on ABC (with a premiere coming to theatres on September 1 since the show was shot on IMAX cameras). The full series starting Sept 29 on ABC. The trailer shows us the king Black Bolt, his queen Medusa, his usurping brother Maximus the Mad (played by Iwan Rheon of Game of Thrones) and we get glimpses of Crystal, Triton and Black Bolt's teleporting dog Lockjaw. All in all, a good trailer that sets up expectations for this TV show.

OnePlus dismisses ‘jelly scrolling effect’ on OnePlus 5, claims it’s normal

Some OnePlus 5 users have been complaining about this jelly-like effect when scrolling through an app on the phone. OnePlus just addressed, or should we say dismissed, this issue saying that it’s a normal thing for the device. In a statement, they say “the OnePlus 5 uses the same level of high-quality components as all OnePlus devices, including the AMOLED display. We've received feedback from a small number of users saying that at times they notice a subtle visual effect when scrolling. This is natural and there's no variance in screens between devices.”

Because of this announcement, unfortunately, it would seem filling a warranty replacement won’t get you anything. But if this bothers you and you’re still well within the 15-day return policy, then that seems to be your only recourse at the moment.
