Razer Axon is a platform that offers high-resolution wallpapers with Razer Chroma integration to millions of users worldwide. And since its launch at RazerCon last year, it has enabled gamers to customize their desktops with stunning images for ultra-wide and multiple monitors. It has also supported independent artists in reaching out to gamers with their creations. Now, Razer has introduced Razer Axon Create, the next level of the platform. It allows anyone to create their own wallpapers and Chroma effects using Razer’s AI machine-learning technology.

With Razer Axon Create, you can generate unique wallpapers from a simple text prompt. The AI Generation tool is powered by Leonardo.Ai, an advanced generative AI platform that caters to both gamers and artists. You can also use the Chroma Generate function to automatically create vibrant Razer Chroma effects based on the colors of your image. You can re-generate different effect sets until you are happy with the result. Chroma Generate uses AI color-matching to select the most vivid colors for your Chroma effects. Once you are done, you can apply your wallpaper and Chroma effects to your PC desktop instantly. Razer Axon Create is already available to all users to try out.

Razer Chroma app: A standalone software for RGB lighting control

While you can still access Razer Chroma controls via the Razer Synapse app, sometimes it's senseless to use this heavier software just to control your RGB lighting on your Razer devices (and the lights from supported partners). That's why Razer spun out the Razer Chroma into a standalone app. This should be easier for your computer and should run faster. You can access all the controls and options you need here. Razer will have an open beta test for the app later this year.

'Tales of the Shire' hints at a different kind of 'Lord of the Rings' game

If you love the Shire, you’ll be happy to hear that a new Lord of the Rings game is coming soon. Tales of the Shire is described as a “cozy” game, but we aren't sure yet what the gameplay entails. It’s coming to PC and consoles in 2024.

The trailer—which you see above—shows a person illustrating a hobbit and a Hobbit-hole. When they move away, the sketchbook's pages blow over to show other hobbit homes.

From it, it seems the game promises to be a different kind of Lord of the Rings game. It looks like one that focuses on Middle-earth's beauty and tranquility, rather than its battles and dangers. It sounds like a perfect game for fans of Samwise Gamgee and his fellow hobbits.

The game is a collaboration between Private Division and Weta Workshop. You might know Private Division as the publisher of games like The Outer Worlds and OlliOlli World. Meanwhile, Weta Workshop is the studio that created the amazing props and costumes for the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, as well as other blockbusters like Avatar: The Way of Water.
