Gmail adds interactive notifcations to iPhone app

It is now easier to use Gmail on iPhone with its latest update. The app now makes it easier to interact with emails from the lock screen. You can now reply or archive a message from there. It is also easier and quicker to share and view attachments. You can now send a link, file, or photo right within the app you’re using. You can select Gmail from the share menu. Also, when opening attachments you can select which app you want to open them in.

Apple advises Aperture users to migrate to upcoming Photos app

 

Aperture was an amazing image editing application for OS X, Apple is replacing iPhoto and Aperture with the new Photos app this spring. Because of this, Aperture will no longer be available for purchase from the Mac App Store. You can continue to use Aperture on OS X Yosemite, but you will not
be able to buy additional copies of the app.

Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac preview is available to download today

It's been a long time since Microsoft Office on Mac users have gotten some love. The latest version of the application is Office 2011! This is changing starting today with the Microsoft Office 2016 preview available for download for anyone who wants to see what's new. Note that the purpose of preview software is to get user feedback and a lot of the functions and features may not be working as expected. Check out the Office 2016 Preview here.
