Apple's centralized health tracking and aggregation HealthKit features are reportedly being tested at 60 per cent of top 23 US hospitals. Launched as part of iOS 8 last year, HealthKit aims to revolutionize mobile health tracking not just by measuring health and movement but by keeping a tab of user's specific health conditions, vitals and even real-time reporting of a sudden change of condition to user's health care providers.

Canadian cities joins Facebook list of cities with higher friendship connections

With Facebook celebrating its 11th year. The social network is focusing on the foundation of the company: friendship. There are over 1.39 billion active monthly users around the world and 20 million of those are Canadians. Aside from that, Canadian cities have made it on a list of cities that are at least 10,000 km apart but have significantly higher than average friend connections. Vancouver, British Columbia is at number three and they share friendship with Hong Kong, Hong Kong. DriveSavers to discuss how to access password-locked iOS devices

It is possible to access password-locked iPhones, at least according to data recovery service provider DriveSavers. They will be presenting information about accessing data from damaged, traumatized, or corrupted iOS devices, including the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, at the ongoing LegalTech trade show in New York. The tips will be helpful for law practice management.

“DriveSavers has recently added additional engineering staff and is developing new capabilities specifically for smart devices due to a significant increase in demand for our data recovery, eDiscovery and digital forensic services,” said chief technology officer Chris Bross.

PayPal mobile payment app now available on most platforms

It is rare to see a service really branch out and make itself available to more than just iOS and Android. PayPal has made the latest version of its mobile app available to for Windows Phone and even the super new, super rare Fire OS (US only) as well. 

The new versions of the PayPal app allows  users to view transaction histories, track payments, send money, request payments, and see all major account activities directly on their phones or tablets.
