Instagram tests full-length Reels replays in Stories

Image: Meta

You might no longer have to leave Instagram Stories to watch the full-length of Reels. The social media platform is testing the ability to watch and share full-length Reel videos at up to one minute. This could be another way Instagram hopes to get more users to engage with the Reels on the platform. Instagram chief Adam Mosseri noted that more people are sharing content in Stories and DMs. And this is one way to keep users engaged in the app and help re-ignite its growth.

New leak shows off Google Pixel Tablet Stand

Image: @_snoopytech_ / Twitter

We know that the Google Pixel Tablet is coming, and unsurprisingly, we're seeing new information leak online. The latest one revolves around its charging dock. Leaker SnoopyTech shared a look at what they are calling the Google Pixel Tablet Stand. Google has shared this on limited promotional material, but here's a more detailed look.

It comes in light grey, which Google will probably call Chalk. It looks like it's wrapped in a similar fabric as the Nest Hub devices. We're expecting the stand to work both as a charger and an external speaker for the tablet. You can see the charging positioned, which should align with the connectors on the tablet. And as suggested in previous rumours, it gets a standard barrel plug, which could disappoint USB-C fans. There's also a debossed G on the bottom surface of the stand and what looks like a single hardware button. With more leaks showing up surrounding the device, we're hoping Google plans to fully unveil the tablet at its I/O conference happening on May 10.

Creators of 'Genshin Impact' to launch new game in April

The next game from Genshin Impact's creators is coming next month. Honkai: Star Rail is launching on April 26 for PC, Android, and iOS. HoYoverse announced that it would also be bringing the game to the PlayStation at a later date. This new game is a turn-based, space-fantasy, tactical role-playing game that gets anime-like art.

It's set in the same universe as Honkai Impact 3rd and follows a protagonist with an implanted Stellaron (the mysterious life form that responds to the world’s desire to advance). They are on a quest to discover the truth about the "Cancer of All Worlds." This free-to-play game uses gacha (item and character-based loot boxes) for monetization. It's rated T for Teen.
