It looks like Microsoft wants to get a leg up on Google's artificial intelligence chatbot plans with an event it's hosting on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET. Microsoft is hosting the event at its campus in Redmond, Washington, with ChatGPT CEO Sam Altman attending the event. Microsoft is expected to talk about how ChatGPT will integrate with Bing.
There were leaks about the social experience last week, showing a new interface for Bing that includes a larger search box for chatting instead of for submitting search queries. This new Bing could do research and handle tasks for people. But since these are rumours, we're still taking them with a grain of salt. We don't have to wait too long to hear more from the two companies, anyway.

It looks like HBO doesn't want to compete with the Super Bowl this Sunday. The Last of Us episode 5 will premiere two days earlier on HBO Max on Friday, February 10 at 9 p.m. ET. In Canada, Bell's Crave streaming service will also debut the episode on the same day and time. But then the remaining four episodes will come out on Sundays again, with the season finale coming out on March 12.

Sonos is gearing up to launch its next-generation smart speakers. The Verge reports that it'll be called Era 300 and Era 100. The flagship Era 300 is reportedly built to showcase spatial audio music tracks and Dolby Atmos content. But both will feature a completely new look compared to existing Sonos products.
You can reportedly expect the "richest fidelity" on a single speaker from Sonos with the Era 300. It's likely to offer USB-C line-in, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and possibly Bluetooth playback. Less is known about the Era 100, but it's expected to have an Era 100 SL model without built-in voice mics. It could end up being a Sonos One successor with up-firing Dolby Atmos support.
