It is no secret that Symbian and Nokia are as split-up as a Hollywood romance. It's been eventful, dramatic and fruitful but the partnership is over and now they are going their separate ways but still remain very good friends. One of the last offspring of this long and once-admired union, is the Nokia X7, one of the nicest looking smartphones we've used this year.

Facebook App finally Pokes out for iPad

After months of waiting and one year in development, iPad users who are fond of Facebook can soon downlad the dedicated iPad version of the social network. The app hasn't shown up in the Canadian iPad Apple store but should be available shortly. Facebook also updated the iPhone version of their app. Features on the iPad app include  including chat, full-screen games, and News Feed notifications.

Breaking News: BlackBerry Outage Fails Millions of users in Europe, Middle East and Africa

BlackBerry services for users in Africa, the Middle East and Europe have ceased since 11:00 a.m. Monday. This widespread failure is  is being blamed on a  bug on Research In Motion’s server in Slough, England  and has affected millions of users across countries, carriers ands devices. This is an unwelcome development for the already beleguered handset maker whose reputation was built on security and class-leading service. This is one reason loyal customers have remained with the smartphone maker.
