RIM's BlackBerry Mobile Fusion server opens ports to iOS and Android

Due to insistent public demand, RIM is launching BlackBerry Mobile Fusion – the Company’s next-generation enterprise mobility solution and RIM’s entry into the multi-platform Mobile Device Management (MDM) marketplace. Which can now manage iPhones, iPads and various Android devices.

BlackBerry PlayBook offered at $99 to RIM employees

How low can you go? How about $99 for a spanking new 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook. RIM employees are reportedly being offered the tablet for the super low price of $99 and can buy up to multiple devices each. The 32GB tablet sells for $149 and the 64GB is going for $199.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE coming to Bell

Bell is going to offer the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, its first LTE tablet, starting on December 7th. The smaller Galaxy Tab has all the features of its 10.1 inch counterpart but is slightly more portable. Featuring a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage ( a 32GB option migh be available). Bell currently sells the 4G version of the 10.1 Galaxy Tab for $650 off contract.

New XBox 360 Dashboard gets spiced up with Metro Interface

 

Microsoft looks to be unifying the look, feel and user experience across its Windows Phone, Windows 8 and now XBox 360 Dashboard with the Metro look. Originating from the Zune music player, Metro's live tiles and slick design functionality seems to be ideal for touch control or, in the case of XBox, for Kinect control. The new dashboard is expected to come via update on December 6.
