New teaser for ‘Iron Fist’ shows its characters iconic costume

Netflix has just released another new teaser for the upcoming second season of Marvel’s Iron Fist. And this time, we get to see a glimpse of Danny Rand’s past—including a look at the classic costume his character is known for. Finn Jones, the actor behind Rand, has said before that we didn’t get to see his character in the costume he’s known for because his character was still trying to find his footing as the character.

This time though, we get a glimpse of it as Rand walks down a New York street with Colleen Wing (played by Jessica Henwick) and has a flashback of his time at K’un-L’un, showing a rather brutal fight. When Wing asks him if he’s okay, he says he was just thinking about a bad memory, which she then replied saying it was all in the past. And he goes, “I hope so,” which possibly suggests Rand’s past coming back to haunt him in this second season. Netflix will start streaming Iron Fist on September 7th.

‘Wonder Woman 1984’ adds Ravi Patel and Gabriella Wilde to its cast

We’re getting more and more casting news from the Patty Jenkins-helmed Wonder Woman 1984. This time around, Ravi Patel and Gabriella Wilde are joining Gal Gadot and the rest of the cast. Patel is known for creating the comedy/documentary Meet the Patels and has starred in Netflix’s Master of None and the TBS sitcom Wrecked. Wilde has appeared in 2011’s The Three Musketeers and in the 2013 remake of Carrie. We don’t know who they will be playing. But Jenkins and the crew have kept most of the new casts’ roles in the film. Earlier this week, Natasha Rothwell from HBO’s Insecure joined the cast as well in another undisclosed role. The only new cast member that has had her identity confirmed was Kristen Wigg, who plays the villain Cheetah in the movie.

OnePlus 5 and 5T get new features and July security patch with OxygenOS 5.1.4

The latest over-the-air update for the OnePlus 5 and 5T just arrived and it brings the latest security patch for both handsets. On top of that, OxygenOS 5.1.4 also brings with it a bunch of new features. One of the most prominent ones is called Sleep Standby Mode. This feature is designed to lessen the amount of battery drain when you aren’t using your phone. According to a OnePlus forum post, the device will track your phone use and determine when you are asleep or aren’t using the phone at specific times of the day. It’ll turn off network connections then to help save on the battery. It’ll power it on again a bit before you wake up to make sure you don’t miss any important notifications.

Aside from that, photo clarity has supposedly been improved but OnePlus didn’t specify how. There’s also new Group Messaging in the default messaging app and general bug fixes. Keep your eyes peeled for the update to head your way, OnePlus is rolling the OTA out bit by bit to different devices from different regions.
