The latest information points to some reference designs seen from alleged packaging inserts showing a bezel-less iPhone as well as a confirmation of this new iPhone design from code derived from a HomePod software developer preview.

Not only do we get a cohesive look at the front fascia of the new iPhone, we also get some hints that Touch ID might be replaced with facial recognition for access and Apple Pay functionality. Knowing Apple, it is also quite possible they've solved the Touch ID through the touchscreen problem in time for the iPhone's release this Fall.
