‘Top Gun 2’ is finally a go

Maverick is making a comeback and the man himself confirms it. Tom Cruise has announced on Australian morning TV show Sunrise that Top Gun 2 is going to happen and they are “gonna start filming it probably in the next year.” Right now, Cruise is in the middle of filming Mission Impossible: 6 and by the time that wraps up, he should be ready to start filming the sequel that has been 30 years in the making.

Top Gun 2 has been in development for a long time and it gained some traction back in 2012 before director Tony Scott died by suicide the summer of that year. It was later picked back up in 2014 and 2015 after producer Jerry Bruckheimer hired a screenwriter and had David Ellison’s Skydance come in to produce.  Bruckheimer even hinted about the film earlier this year. But it seems the runway is clear and all systems are go now. And yes, we’re pretty stoked.

DJI will ground your drone if you don’t register it on its site

DJI drone owners, listen up! You'll need to comply with an upcoming policy from the drone maker. That is if you want to continue to enjoy using your drone. An upcoming firmware update will require users to log into the website for a "new application process." If you don't comply, the drone's range will be limited to 164-foot/50-meter radius, and it won't be able to fly higher than 98 feet/30 meters. The camera won't also stream images or videos to your phone or controller.

The reason behind the update is that DJI wants to sync up each drone with specific regulations of the country where the drones are being operated. The new activation process is expected to kick in at the end of this week. To update the firmware on your drone you need to use the DJI GO or GO 4 app and log into your account.
