Google shutters Travel app's trip summary

Screenshot: Google

If you've found Google Travel's trip summary to be particularly useful, unfortunately, that feature is going away. Google is phasing out the feature starting May 1. You'll now just get the option to email your past and future itineraries. Trip summary came in handy for sorting previously visited places, flight details, hotel stays, and restaurant reservations in chronological order. Google also used this service to suggest other places you might want to visit. The feature also lets you review specifics about your upcoming trips (like booking numbers and flight departures).

OnePlus' first tablet is expected to launch next month. The company initially mentioned it was releasing the OnePlus Pad in April, but it hasn't mentioned a specific date. An email sent out to customers have been spotted online with a pre-order date scheduled for April 10. The company also teases that these early bird customers who received the email will be eligible for an "amazing gift." It's unclear when the tablet will start shipping, though. Bloober Team shows off 'Layers of Fear' gameplay

Bloober Team gives us a better look at its reimagined Layers of Fear collection. The bundle comes with the original Layers of Fear, Layers of Fear 2, and all the expansions. There will also be a new chapter that gives a "new perspective" on the first game's story. This collection is coming to the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in June.

The new 11-minute gameplay video focuses on a new character called The Writer. It shows you exploring a gloomy lighthouse. The developer reworked the games in Unreal Engine 5, giving them atmospheric visuals that are both pretty and eerie. The studio used tools like the Lumen system, HDR, ray-tracing, and volumetric lighting to make it look as lifelike as possible.
