The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 launch is less than a couple of months away and it seems we have a date. According to CNET, the Galaxy Note 10 will be launched at an Unpacked event on August 7th. It’ll reportedly be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which is the same place that Samsung launched the Note 9 last year. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the date or venue yet, but we’re sure to hear more soon as the launch approaches.

The Note 10 is rumoured to be coming in two sizes, with each model getting a 5G version. The Note 10 and Note 10 Pro will reportedly share a lot of features, but it will differ in screen and battery sizes, as expected. The phones are rumoured to be getting the same all-screen, Infinity-O design of the Galaxy S10. But leaks suggest the camera hole will be in the middle instead of it being off to the side. Leaks also suggest it’ll have the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will get Night Mode for its camera

We were already alerted of the dedicated Night Mode coming to older Samsung devices. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ got the June 2019 update with this feature. And now the Galaxy Note 9 is getting it, too. Well, at least the Note 9 owners in Germany are getting the over-the-air update. Firmware version N960FXXU3CSF9 brings Night Mode as well as the ability to scan QR codes without using Bixby Vision. It comes in at just under 704MB and includes the June 2019 security patch. Overall camera performance is thrown into the mix as well. Now, it’s just time to wait for the update to head this way.

Microsoft brings its To-Do app to the Mac

Apple users finally gain access to Microsoft’s To-Do app. It’ll let users work offline, view upcoming tasks under the “My Day” section, see flagged emails, and share to-do lists with others. It doesn’t fully integrate with Microsoft Planner, but we’re expecting that to come soon. This cross syncs with the other iterations of the Microsoft To-Do app on iOS, Android, Windows, and online. The app also syncs with Outlook, so if you rely heavily on the said email client, you might appreciate this addition. To-Do for Mac is available for download on the Mac App Store now.

‘Dr. Mario World’ is coming to Android and iOS on July 10th

You might have already heard that Dr. Mario World is making a comeback for mobile devices. We now get an official launch date for its release on both Android and iOS. This freemium game is a match-3 puzzle game where you need to eliminate viruses by aligning them with similarly-coloured capsules. You have a limited number of capsules, so you’ll need to be strategic when approaching this game. You can interact with other players, too. You can send or receive hearts from them for extra stamina or even battle them online in versus mode. If you want to shell out money, there are optional “diamonds” that you can cash in for items, restore stamina, or buy new doctors with special skills. Or you can use the old-fashioned way or the free way and earn it yourself.
