Facebook tests out new feature to track the time you spend on the social network

Tech companies are acknowledging our need to have better control over our digital health. The latest one to join this initiative is Facebook. The company is testing out a new feature that can show you how much time you spend on the platform. The “Your Time on Facebook” feature shows you the time you’ve spent on the social network over the past seven days as well as the average for the total week. You can set a time limit on how long you’re in the application and it’ll notify you when you’ve hit your limit. Facebook hasn’t given a specific timetable when this will roll out to more users but the company has told TechCrunch that they are “working on new ways to help make sure people’s times on Facebook is time well spent.”

Rogers scheduled to rollout Android Oreo for BlackBerry KEYone owners starting June 28th

Review: BlackBerry KEYone

If we’re to rely on the latest operating system schedule posted on Rogers’s forums, we’re just days away from the carrier rolling out Android Oreo 8.0 to the BlackBerry KEYone. The carrier expects the OS to start rolling out on June 28th. One other detail highlighted with the update is Wi-Fi calling, which we presume will be available for the device as well. With the last update Rogers rolled out was considered “Oreo prep,” it’s safe to assume that the carrier might stick to this timeline and KEYone owners are closer to getting the OS upgrade. Let us know once the update hits your device.

Google Assistant can now provide more information about the rain

Google is continuously updating both Assistant and by extension Google Home with more features. One of the newest thing the company seems to be testing out is related to the weather—or rain, to be specific. Previously, when you ask Google Assistant if it’s going to rain, it’ll give you a yes or no answer. Now, it’ll be able to provide more information. It can tell you when exactly it’ll rain and if there will be a break from it. A lot of Reddit users have confirmed that this feature is rolling out for some people and it is coming to Google Home users, too. Here’s to hoping this rolls out to more users.

Tom Holland ‘accidentally’ leaks title of ‘Spider-Man’ sequel

Marvel has seemed to have leaned into the joke of Spider-Man actor Tom Holland being bad at keeping secrets and has him “leak” major news about the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. The film is supposedly titled Spider-Man: Far From Home. He showed us the front page of the script he just got for the film. Now, we don’t know if both Marvel and Tom are trolling us but there is no other detail outside of the title. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered, though, especially with how Avengers: Infinity War ended.
