Amazon Prime subscribers in Canada can now watch Amazon Videos

If you're an Amazon Prime subscriber in Canada, there's a workaround to watching Amazon Prime video shows like the highly anticipated Grand Tour which brings together former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, as well as other Amazon exclusives. In order to watch the shows, you need to log in to Amazon.com and access the Amazon Video from there. I was able to do it on a MacBook Pro but had to download an install Microsoft Silverlight to be able to watch the video. Amazon Video apps or devices don't seem to work yet but at least we can watch shows on our PCs via the browser.

This great news gets only better as Canadians should be able to watch the shows through Amazon.ca soon without having to go to the US website. For long time Prime subscribers, it is like getting a free subscription to a streaming service (although US Prime subscribers have long had access to this).

Twitter puts down more hurdles for law enforcers wanting to access your tweets

Twitter is making it crystal clear that they don’t want law enforcement to spy on you and your activities on its platform. The social network issued a warning that developers who use its public programming kits or Gnip data for surveillance will get limited access or will be suspended from the service entirely.

Twitter reasons that just because tweets are public, it doesn’t mean these should be harvested. They say their company is devoted to “social justice” and have law enforcement track protesters using public data curbs freedom of expression. Of course, that still won’t stop authorities from using other means to get data but at least this time they can’t gather so much information with just one program.

Cadillac's latest CT6 raises the bar in terms of comfort, technology and audio quality

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

The 2016 Cadillac CT6 is a flagship sedan with a lot going for it. Despite its larger size, it supposedly drives like a hot hatch, it's nimble on the turns and manages to offer exhilarating performance with little effort. The new CT6 is all-in with GM's focus on having 4G-LTE technology as well as OnStar functionality but ups the luxury ante in a number of areas.

I had the chance to check out and sit in two demo Cadillac CT6 models, one featured the usual lavish interior of rich leather and wood accents but also had a back massager. Relaxing in the back seat of this stately sedan was very much a temporary thing. The new flagship CT6 models come tuned with the Bose Paneray 34-speaker surround sound system. This was developed from the ground up in tandem with Bose and ensures only the highest fidelity soundstage ever in the interior of the car.
