Blizzard celebrates ‘Diablo’ anniversary by remaking the game in ‘Diablo 3’

Blizzard thought it would be best to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original Diablo game by remaking said game in Diablo 3. The game will land in the game through an anniversary update called “Darkening of Tristram.” This update introduces the graphics, gameplay, and style of the first game to Diablo 3. There will be a 16-level dungeon with four main bosses from Diablo. You will be limited to the 8-degree-of-freedom movement and the old-school filter to invoke the vibe of the original game. The update will be free when it comes out. Those who are in the Diablo 3 Public Test Realm server can play the game as early as next week.

Apple reduces pricing of USB C dongles

After hearing the resounding complaints from customers and critics alike, Apple has decided to discount its various USB Type-C dongles to help ease the pain in the pocketbooks of would-be MacBook Pro buyers. It's a good move to placate fans and pro users who may have been left scratching their heads after the new MacBook Pros eschewed more traditional ports. Apple is trying to make things right.

“We recognize that many users, especially pros, rely on legacy connectors to get work done today and they face a transition. We want to help them move to the latest technology and peripherals, as well as accelerate the growth of this new ecosystem. Through the end of the year, we are reducing prices on all USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 peripherals we sell, as well as the prices on Apple’s USB-C adapters and cables.”

Neil Young restores catalog on music streaming services

After one year or so of swearing off music streaming services due to audio quality issues, fock/rock musician Neil Young finds his music catalog back in the likes of Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer. His music has been on Tidal due to the streaming service offering a “HiFi” tier in its service for those who want lossless quality tunes.

Young had been concentrating on its Pono brand, which included the PonoPlayer and PonoMusic download service. Both focusing on offering maximum audio quality. However, PonoMusic has been offline since July following the acquisition of its platform provider Omnifone. Perhaps, the drop in income has made Young reconsider his position. If you’re a fan and on these services, this is good news for you.
