Viber releases beta version of Windows 10 app

If you use Viber and have a Windows 10 device, you finally get a native Viber, albeit in beta. According to Microsoft, the messaging app has been built from the ground up and it can be used across all Windows 10 devices. Viber for Windows 10 has been built with responsive resizing so it should work well no matter what screen size your device has. If you’re new on Viber, the app like many other free messaging platforms offer things like Public Chats, sticker, group messaging, etc. It also recently announced end-to-end encryption. The app maintains a clean user interface and in the teaser video above shows that it also allows for drag-and-drop files from the desktop immediately into the chat. The app is already available for download from the Windows Store.

Fadell will be replaced by former Motorola Home CEO Marwan Fawaz but he’ll still stay on as an advisor for Alphabet in the immediate feature.
