SenCbuds will pause music when earbuds get taken out

A new pair of earbuds will make it easier to play or pause music. New Zealand-based Vivnnovation Limited's SenCbuds will automatically play or pause music, depending on whether the buds are in your ear or not. You no longer have to fiddle with your phone or the built-in button that comes with some headphones. These earphones are iOS- and Android-compatible and they come with a roll-up cable clip that also serves as a remote that lets you switch between songs or answer incoming calls through a built-in mic. And if you don't want people to bug you while you listen to music, it has a red LED indicator for that. Of course, you'll have to explain what the LED light means.

In terms of specs, the SenCbuds have 9mm drivers, 98dB sensitivity, 16 ohm impedance, and a 5kHz to 25kHz frequency range. It has a USB-rechargeable battery in the remote that is said to last over two weeks of "regular use" per charge. If the battery dies out before you charge it, the SenCbuds can still work as regular earbuds. Vivnnovation is raising funds to produce SenCbuds over at Indiegogo, if you pledge US$45, you can get a pair. Retail price is set at $70.

Do you need an entire week or even just a few minutes to run a poll? Twitter now gives you the option to choose how long you want your poll to last. It can be as long as seven days or as short as five minutes. If you want to be as arbitrary with time as you want, then go right ahead. Twitter says over 1.7 billion votes have already been cast since the social network released the feature.

Background music won't arrive to Xbox One until the summer

If you've been wanting to use your own tunes while having one of your intense gaming sessions, you won't be able to do that with the Xbox One until the summer. Mike Ybarra announced back in November that the Microsoft was working on making background music available to you. But they didn't specify a timeline for it. Twitter user Phil Spencer asked for our sake and the reply said it won't be coming until this summer. At least now there's sort of a timeline for it. In the meantime, you either have to stick to in-game background music or try and use Groove Music, although that takes up 20% of your screen, which we know can be annoying.

Tesla's new interiors are now vegan-friendly

It's not hard to assume that some people would buy a Tesla for its eco-friendly powertrains. But once you decide to get one of these, one of the decisions you have to make is fitting the interiors with leather (or as Mashable puts it, "skin of deceased cows") or regular cloth. You spend so much money on one of these machines so why can't you get something more fitting of the cars' image? Tesla has come up with a new vegan-friendly faux leather they call Ultra White.

“We find that customers enjoy both leather and nonleather options for their Teslas,” Tesla spokesperson Khobi Brooklyn, told the New York Times. “We are committed to giving customers the ability to build the Tesla that meets their needs and lifestyle choices.”
