Hands-on with the Rogers LG G Flex

The coolest feature of this phone, the head-turner itself, is the fact that the hardware and screen are in fact curved - a first of its kind to be released in market.  Aside from that, and despite the fact that LG felt it ok to load the device with two-year-old software (Android 4.2 out of box) the LG G Flex is just the current flagship G2 in a bigger housing.

Negatives aside, it’s still a cool phone, so let’s take a quick hands-on look:

iOS 7.1 adoption at 18 % after 72 hours

Adoption of the newly released iOS 7.1 is at 18 % after 72 hours. This is according to Chitika which measures web traffic in North America.

According to AppleInsider, "for the purposes of the study, Chitika Insights studied tens of millions of U.S. and Canadian online ad impressions originating from iOS devices from Mar. 9 through Mar. 12." iOS 7.1 brought a slew of updates as the biggest revision to the Apple mobile OS since it launched six-months ago. The big bonus for users of older devices like the iPhone 4 is that overall performance has actually improved thanks to iOS 7.1.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom specs leaks surfaced

A new Samsung Galaxy Zoom is reportedly on its way and some possible specs have leaked online. IntoMobile cites a report on GFXBench website that the new Galaxy S5 Zoom or what has been marked as SM-C115 has recently passed through tests. The new Zoom will reportedly have a 4.8-inch 720p HD screen, 20-megapixel rear camera, 2MP front camera, 1.3GHz Exynos 5 Hexa chip with ARM Mali-T624 graphics chipset, 2GB RAM, and will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. We’re not sure when this device will be coming out but we expect more details to surface soon.
