Screen Time Media Manager helps with kids' screen time

Utah based Kabrea Technologies today announces Screen Time - Media Time Manager 1.2, an update to their innovative time tracking application for iOS devices. ScreenTime encourages children to spend less time watching television and more time doing other more productive, healthy activities. Beginning with the ability to add screen minutes manually, users should expect a series of updates which include iCloud support, graphs and reports, weekly allowances, and an iPad version.

TomTom seeks tropical island explorers to help map St. Lucia

Earlier this month, TomTom launched its Map Paradise Project, recruiting families and groups of friends to help map five tropical islands. Today applications close for the first island, Fiji, and open for St. Lucia. TomTom is looking for people to spend two weeks on the island and earn $10,000 for mapping it.

Samsung Galaxy S III launch date moved to June 27th

Canadians will need to wait a bit longer to enjoy their Samsung Galaxy S III (which we just reviewed below). Samsung's just made it known that due to unprecedented demand, the GSIII will be coming to Canada on June 27th instead of the original launch date of June 20th.  It isn't certain if this is a global delay or just a Canada specific issue. I've also reached out to Samsung to find out if this applies to in-store stock as well as pre-ordered carrier phones. Below is the whole release.

Due to unprecedented global demand, with more than 9 million carrier pre-orders to date, the highly anticipated GALAXY S III will now be available for purchase beginning June 27^th through leading Canadian wireless carriers and authorized national retailers. Some models and colour options may not be available at all locations.  Most carriers and retailers are offering the choice to register on-line for updates on the GALAXY S III, and some partners are offering their customers the chance to pre-order the GALAXY S III.  We expect any shortages to be short lived as we ramp up production to meet this unprecedented global demand.
