Hundreds of Digital Media Enthusiasts Gather for PodCamp Toronto

Digital media enthusiasts of all stripes are converging on the Rogers Communications Centre at Ryerson University onSaturday Feb. 26 and Sunday Feb. 27 for the fifth annual PodCamp Toronto. Last year 900 people from Toronto's new media community attended during the two-day unconference. Organizers are confident of a good turnout with (at the time of this writing) over 1,300 people signed up to attend this year's event.

Motoring: Toyota recalls 2.2 million vehicles due to risk of unintended acceleration

Just when things were picking up for Toyota, the carmaker has had to issue another recall affecting 2.2 million vehicles to replace the floor mats, which may get caught on the accelerator and cause gas pedals to stick. Toyota's full release follows after the jump.

Are you ready for Mac OS X Lion?

The next version of Apple's OS X is codenamed Lion and will add some of the more outstanding elements of the mobile iOS platform to the desktop. Apple just released a developer preview of Mac OS X Lion, which takes some of the best ideas from iPad  and some new features like AirDrop (wireless Mac to Mac file sharing) and the ability to run full-screen apps.
