Toshiba reveals 10-inch Honeycomb Tablet, set to launch in Spring

The Android tablet parade continues. Toshiba's just gone live with a comprehensive website focusing on their Toshiba Tablet. Aside from being a 10" inch Android tablet, it also features a removable battery, a choice of colours, i/o galore by way of HDMI-out, MiniUSB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a smart screen that automaticall adjusts brightness and contrast. No word on pricing but we hope its priced more reasonably than that $800 Motorola Xoom.

WishList: iControlPad iPhone game controller case and charger

While the Nintendo 3DS and the Sony NGP make their way to market, the iPhone is arguably the current darling of the portable gaming set. Touch is good and all but real gamers like real buttons, enter the iControlPad- a device that combines a Bluetooth controller, a 1500maH battery, a Digital Dpad, 2 Analogue nubs, 6 face buttons and 2 rear buttons. What's more is that the iControlPad is supposedly designed to work with a variety of smartphones and it is hacker friendly. Now on pre-order for US$80, the iControlPad may be the coolest gaming accessory we've seen for smartphones.

Video: LG's G-Slate 3D Capable Honeycomb tablet demoed

LG's G-Slate demoed briefly in this video from T-Mobile. Looks really good! The 3D aspect sounds a bit gimmicky but if this hits the market at a lower price than the Motorola Xoom's SRT of $800, it should make for interesting competition.
