What you get with the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

Source: Samsung

You might feel a bit of deja vu looking at the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. But that isn't surprising. The Galaxy Tab S11 series retains a similar look to its recent predecessors but ditches its midsized 12.4-inch Plus model.

The Ultra is a 14.6-inch slate featuring a Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 1600 nits of peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and an anti-reflective coating on the screen. This tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, featuring up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of expandable storage via microSD.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 can work as your second monitor

Source: Samsung

Samsung DeX is taking advantage of the Desktop Mode that Google introduced with Android 16 and bringing it to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series. Samsung's new tablet can finally serve as a second monitor when plugged into your main display. Until now, the DeX experience on a connected display was treated as a separate sandbox from the tablet.

But with the new feature, you can now move app windows across the two screens, drag and drop files, and do what you typically do with a desktop platform. One thing to note is that the tablet home screen will not mirror DeX's user interface with the taskbar at the bottom.

Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab S11

Samsung made some slight tweaks to its Galaxy Tab series as it launched the new Galaxy Tab S11 series. The company no longer sells a Plus variant. Instead, we get the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and the base Galaxy Tab S11, which we are discussing here.

The Galaxy Tab S11 features a more portable 10.9-inch AMOLED screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,600 nits. It doesn't have an anti-reflective coating but a standard reflective glass, which you can remedy by using an anti-reflective screen protector.

Samsung upgrades key features on Galaxy S25 FE

Source: Samsung

At under CA$1,000, "affordable" might not be the word we'd use to describe the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE. However, it retains the price point of its predecessor and brings some much-needed updates from the "Fan Edition" version of the Galaxy S24 FE.

The Galaxy S25 FE gets the Exynos 2400 chipset, which powers the international versions of the Galaxy S24 and S24+. It isn't expected to beat the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor on the pricier Galaxy S25 models, but it is a step up from the Galaxy S24 FE. The battery also has a larger 4,900mAh capacity with 45W wired charging support, up from last year's 4,700mAh battery with 25W wired charging.
