Any.do Cal launches an Android version

If you’ve been using the Any.do To-Do and Task List, then the Any.do Cal app should be added into your app tray.  The free app supports Android 4.0 devices or later and syncs with calendar services such as Google Calendar, Exchange, Yahoo!, Outlook, AOL, and even iCloud. The app can remind you of someone’s birthday and helps you find meeting places and restaurant with location awareness capabilities.

Bop.fm aggregates music for easy sharing

New free music service Bop.fm helps make music sharing and listening and easier experience. The music aggregator pulls songs from YouTube, Soundcloud, Spotify, and Rdio to give you access to songs no matter where you are from the world. It takes away the pesky “this is not available in your location” notice for those living outside of the US and lets you embed or link to tracks directly onto your website.

Game of Thrones video game series to come out in 2014

 

The creator of The Walking Dead video games, Telltale Games, has announced that the studio will produce a Game of Thrones game series. The studio said the game will be similar to the TV show than the George R. R. Martin books.

Google, NatGeo partner to offer 500 historic map online

Google and National Geographic have partnered to put over 500 of its signature fold-out historic paper maps onto the Google Maps Engine platform. Frank Biasi, digital development director at National Geographic, said high resolution maps will also be for sale or be available for licensing deals.
