Apple begins shipping new iPod Touch and iPod nano models

Apple has started shipping the new iPod Touch as well as the iPod nano models revealed last month during the iPhone 5 launch event. All indications point to both these models being in stock in most Apple Stores with supplies increasing into the weekend. The new iPod Touch brings the larger 4-inch Retina Display of the iPhone 5, an improved 5 megapixel iSight camera and a powerful dual-core A5 chip. The new nano resembles a tiny iPod Touch with a 2.5 inch display, the ability to play back video as well as built-in Bluetooth.

Owners of the Nexus 7 Jelly Bean tablet might want to go and check out the new 4.1.2 software update that enables the long awaited landscape mode and delivers various bug fixes. This is further proof that Pure Google is the way to go in terms of quick and timely software and feature updates.
