Xerox offers Managed Print Services

Xerox wants to simply enterprise printing process to help reduce cost and even print less documents. The company takes a three-stage approach for this initiative: assess and optimize; secure and integrate; and automate and simplify.
The tools for assessment and optimization include Xerox CompleteView Pro and Xerox Production Assessment Services. CompleteView Pro provides users with a web-based, interactive visual dashboard to provide “what if” scenarios surrounding a client’s print environment and what the company can do to improve efficiency of the system; while Production Assessment Services evaluates client’s print environment to directly affect cost savings and efficiency.
Meanwhile, the tools for integration and security include Xerox Secure Audit Service, Xerox Print Server Management Service, and Xerox Mobile Print Solution. Print Security Audit tracks customer's print policy to spot and solve any compliance problems; Print Server Management centralizes print servers, drivers and queues to lessen load on information technology resources; and Mobile Print gives secure printing access using Mobile Print app.
Lastly, simplification and automation tools include Xerox Content Management Services and Xerox Ignite. Content Management assists with the automation and simplification of work processes; while Ignite helps educators mark exams and analyze information electronically.
The Print Server Management services will become available in Western Europe first starting 2014, while Xerox Ignite is currently available in the US and will be available in other places beginning next year.
