Dyson's V6 mattress vacuum targets dust mites and allergens

Dyson's new V6 matterss vacuum is designed to keep beds and matresses clean and safe. Beds can contain between 10,000 and two million dust mites, which feed on our skin cells. These dust mites then product droppings, which many people are allergic to and can cause reactions, including asthma, eczema and allergic rhinitis.

The Dyson V6 Mattress vacuum is a dedicated cordless handheld mattress cleaner with powerful suction to remove allergens from your mattress. Powered by the Dyson digital motor V6, the vacuum has 2 Tier Radial cyclone technologies to separate more microscopic dust.

Four key technologies make the V6 Mattress engineered for powerful suction to remove allergens from your mattress:

1)    Post-motor filter: the first Dyson handheld with a post-motor filter, it captures over 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns in size, including allergens and bacteria.

2)    Motorized mattress tool:  Pivots to maintain constant contact across the mattress. Stiff nylon bristles agitate the mattress fibres dislodging dust mites, allergens and dirt so they can be drawn up by the powerful suction.

3)    Dyson digital motor V6: The latest Dyson digital motor gives V6 Mattress the most powerful suction of any cordless handheld vacuum.

4)    2 Tier Radial™ Cyclone Technology: Flings dust out of the air and into the bin, separating out even the most microscopic particles.

The Dyson V6 mattress vacuum comes to Canada on June 16 for $ 299
