'Roblox' will host a virtual Lil Nas X concert this Saturday

Following in the steps of Fortnite's collaboration with Travis Scott, hit kids game Roblox will be hosting a Lil Nas X concert this weekend, where he will perform his new single "Holiday" for the first time alongside past hits like "Old Town Road."

Players can see and hear these tracks performed from different in-game stages inspired by the rapper's music. Collectible tokens and mini-games can be played in these places. Players can also buy concert merch with Roblox's in-game Robux currency. A Q&A session with Lil Nas X will happen ahead of the event.

The concert is also an opportunity for developer Roblox Corporation to showcase its latest rendering technologies baked into the game.

There will be three showings starting at 1 PM PST on November 14, 10 PM PST, and 9 AM PST on November 15.
