Google teases Pixel 7 series at I/O 2022

Google didn't want leaks to be your first look at its upcoming flagship. At its I/O developer conference, the company chose to tease the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. It doesn't look like the design has changed too drastically from the Pixel 6 series. But it does tweak the camera cut out a bit with an aluminum bar that flows into the side rails. The phones look like they no longer have that two-tone colour effect either. And sadly, we're not seeing the "Kinda Coral" option.

Based on the renders, the Pixel 7 Pro gets a triple rear camera system like the 6 Pro, while the Pixel 7 mimics the Pixel 6 with two cameras. We expect the cameras to stick to the traditional wide/ultra-wide/telephoto configuration. It will take a while for the Pixel 7 series to come out, though. The new devices are expected to debut in October when Android 13 gets officially released.
