Xiaomi 13 Lite brings dual-selfie cameras

Xiaomi didn't just introduce the Leica-equipped Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. It also launched the Xiaomi 13 Lite, a follow-up to the 12 Lite. This new variant has a design similar to the China-only Xiaomi Civi 2. It gets a dual-front camera setup, including a 32-megapixel primary sensor paired with an 8-megapixel depth sensor. The latter is supposed to help with more natural-looking bokeh in selfies. The camera also has a 100-degree field of view and automatically adjusts the framing for group shots.

In the back, there's a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor paired with 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro cameras. This phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and Android 12-based MIUI 14.

The Xiaomi 13 Lite sports a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED display with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Its battery is almost the same as the Xiaomi 13, with a 4,500mAh capacity and 67W wired charging support. Xiaomi offers the Xiaomi 13 Lite in Lite Blue, Lite Pink, and Black models, with a starting price of EUR 499 (around CAD 715).
