Discover hidden gems and trending spots with Google Maps

Looking for more than just search results on Google Maps? Now, you can explore curated lists alongside reviews, photos, and the usual search functions. Swipe up on any place you search for and discover a new section called "Lists in [city]".

You can dive into recommendations from trusted sources like The Infatuation's restaurant picks, Lonely Planet's must-see locations, The New York Times' perfect 36-hour itineraries, and OpenTable's hottest new restaurants.

You can also explore places trending on Maps right now with the "Trending" list or discover "Top" and "Gems" lists based on what the Maps community loves. Find hidden neighbourhood favourites and long-standing establishments that never disappoint. Get ready to see some of the best user-created lists featured in the coming months!

You're also no longer limited by "Distance" or "Recently added" when you're fixing your lists. You can manually arrange your lists the way you want.

Enrich your lists by adding links to your reviews or social media posts about a particular place, showcasing why it deserves a spot on your list.

The list feature is rolling out to over 40 cities across the U.S. and Canada this week. Personalized list improvements and social media linking will be available globally on Android and iOS later this month.
