Threads now allows you to choose who can quote your posts—those you follow or no one at allThis update aims to foster a more positive and supportive environment, as announced by Instagram Head Adam Mosseri. The quoting control feature—tested with a user group last month—is now rolling out to everyone. This comes alongside other recent additions focused on safety and user experience.

Threads borrowed the popular Hidden Words feature from Instagram, allowing users to filter out unwanted terms from their feeds. Additionally, archiving options are being tested, enabling manual or automatic archiving based on set expiry dates.
