TikTok rolls out voice memo, picture support for DMs

TikTok is boosting its direct messaging capabilities by adding support for voice messages and photos. According to The Verge, you can send up to nine photos at a time or a voice memo up to a minute long. Direct messages on the platform still support video messages, which are also up to a minute long.

It's important to note that if you hold down the microphone button to start recording your voice message, it'll automatically send as soon as you release it. So, if you don't want to send the message, you need to drag it up or left to cancel.

Direct messaging isn't available to all TikTok users. They aren't accessible to users below 16 years old.
