Fitbit and Google unveiled their newest fitness tracker. The aptly named Fitbit Air looks like it takes inspiration from WHOOP, with its screenless, discreet design. It includes a tiny, lightweight sensor you can transfer to different bands. The no-screen look means you aren't distracted by any buzzing notifications or glowing lights when you have it on.
The Fitbit Air still includes the usual array of health-tracking features, including 24/7 heart rate, heart rhythm monitoring with Afib alerts, SpO2, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages and duration, and more. It also integrates with Google's new Health app and Google Health Coach.
This wearable comes with up to seven days of battery life on a single charge, with a five-minute fast-charging session promising a full day's use. It works with both iOS and Android. The Fitbit Air retails for $129 in Canada and is now available for preorder.
