Fitbit Air's Stephen Curry edition is workout-ready

Google

The Fitbit Air fitness tracker comes in various bands and designs, but the most workout-ready option is the special edition developed with NBA player Stephen Curry. The basketball star is collaborating with Google as its "Performance Advisor" for the Fitbit brand.

Created in partnership with Curry, the Fitbit Air Special Edition features a fabric band with a raised inner liner that is designed to increase airflow. Its water-resistant design ensures it dries more quickly. Other design details include his signature #LockIn mantra and the number 30 on the underside of the band. The Special Edition is the Performance Loop band that comes in muted rye brown with a pop of game-day orange.

The Fitbit Air Special Edition retails for US$129.99 (~CA$178), with preorders going live in the US on May 26. There is no word yet whether the special variant will make its way outside of the US.
